Let me take you back to where it all began. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon or any extraordinary talents. What I’ve achieved today is the product of determination, resilience, and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. I’m a father, a husband, and someone deeply curious about the limitless possibilities of innovation and technology.

Life has taught me the value of balance: embracing humor to keep things light but knowing when to shift gears and command attention in any room. For me, success is about staying grounded while reaching for the stars. It’s this balance that defines not only who I am but how I approach every opportunity and challenge.

From Dentistry to Disruption

If you had told me years ago that my career in dentistry would one day lead me into the fast-paced world of startups and innovation, I wouldn’t have believed it. For seven years, I thrived as an orthodontist, building a rewarding career. But in 2016, something sparked a change. I discovered a new passion—startups and the immense potential of technology to transform lives.

That realization ignited a bold decision to leave behind the clinical path I knew so well and venture into the unknown. By 2018, I founded HTI (Healthtech Technology Innovation), a project that forever changed my trajectory. This wasn’t just a career shift; it was a leap into a new way of thinking, a new way of solving problems, and a new way of helping people on a larger scale.

From day one, I threw myself into this new path with relentless action. I immersed myself in learning, applied every lesson I could, stumbled more times than I can count, and kept pushing forward. Along the way, something incredible happened—I realized how much I loved helping others grow. With a master’s degree in hand and a lifelong passion for teaching, I discovered the perfect synergy: blending my love for education with the world of business to empower startup founders and business owners to achieve their dreams.

Crafting a Legacy

By 2022, the seeds I had planted through years of hard work and learning began to flourish. After earning a diploma in International Business Management at George Brown College, I took another leap and founded IB Business Consultant and Advisory to empower small businesses and startups to thrive. (Fun fact: IB stands for “To Infinity and Beyond,” inspired by my son’s love for Buzz Lightyear—a reminder to always dream big.)
Helping others innovate and grow has become more than just my profession; it’s my personal mission. It’s about creating a legacy of transformation and impact, one business at a time.
Today, I proudly wear several hats: Senior Consultant for Brainwork, MBA teacher for CIMMO, investor, and business owner. Each of these roles fuels my passion in unique ways, whether it’s mentoring startups to unlock their potential, teaching future leaders about the power of innovation, or rolling up my sleeves to help businesses overcome challenges and scale effectively. These aren’t just titles; they’re opportunities to live out my mission every single day.

In November 2024, at a TBC event, a startup founder told me I wasn’t just a mentor—I was THE mentor. That simple comment crystallized my mission: to inspire, guide, and help others unlock their potential through innovation.
